This pairing shapes both the feel and the thermal behavior of the sleep surface, delivering a responsive, breathable surface that stays comfortable across varying climates and sleep styles.
The ticking blends wool, silk, and viscose for breathability and softness at first contact, while the upholstery layers build depth and resilience: British fleece wool for moisture regulation, followed by the long, resilient Moosburger® horsetail to preserve loft; Real Shetland Wool blended with cashmere for a finer, softer transition and temperature moderation; and a core of Real Shetland Wool mixed with organic cotton for body and absorption. The two-layer hand-nested vanadium steel calico pocket springs (3,296 springs in King) respond independently to weight and movement, delivering continuous support. A border of coir and wool anchors the perimeter with four rows of hand side-stitching to extend the usable sleep surface, and each mattress is hand-tufted with woollen tufts and twine to compress the fillings into a stable, consistent depth at every tuft point.
